Freedom Convoy 2022
Canadians began to protest in ernest against COVID-19 overreach (masking, vaxpass/QR codes, lockdowns, testing mania) condoned through invoking emergency legislation by all levels of Canadian government (federal, provincial, municipal) when truckers and some of their supporters gathered to leave British Columbia early in the morning on Sunday, January 23, 2022, to begin a Freedom Convoy to the capital city, Ottawa, in Ontario and scheduled to arrive on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
By the time the convoy of mixed vehicles arrived, it had easily surpassed the 7.5 km largest parade of trucks on record in the Guinness World Book of Records (website), extending to 70 kms (43 miles).
Smaller tributary convoys drove from the east coast, various cities throughout the country and the United States to join with team in Ottawa.
The truckers created a spark of hope that ignited similar movements across the globe (Israel, France, USA, ) including several supporting protests across Canada.

Opposition
It quickly became apparent that Prime Minister Trudeau had no plans to meet with the truckers to listen to their concerns.
In fact, Trudeau came out denigrating the protesters as a “fringe minority” holding “unacceptable views”. (video [mark 1:00]) (Appendix C)
While amazing and inspiring to some, the truckers’ movement took serious hits from government and corporate media:
• Mainstream/corporate media/government touted how racist, violent, terrorist, messy, thieving, and obstructive they are (they’re not). (video)
• Truckers’ first GoFundMe was cancelled after it hit $10 million.
• Truckers’ second GiveSendGo (US$8.8 million) has an injunction requested by the provincial government, plus Ottawa and the province are after the money.
• Money was touted to be from ‘foreign entities meddling in Canadian affairs’ (since GiveSendGo donations are in US$).
• On February 11, 2022, the provincial government declared a state of emergency to deal with the truckers as they see fit (i.e. police, military, power grab)
• Opinions of Canada’s population has polarized for/against the truckers’ action.
• Police stopping fuel trucks from servicing the big rigs; confiscating jerry cans.
• Agent provocateurs. (video 14 mins)
Crowdfunding
One particular GoFundMe crowdfunding cause, Freedom Convoy 2022, was setup with a $20,000 target by Tamara Lich, Medicine Hat, AB and B.J.Dichter that astonishingly raised $10 million in less than 3 weeks showing that Trudeau’s “fringe minority” was way off the mark.
At the end of January 2022, GoFundMe had taken the Freedom Convoy 2022 off the website home page despite being a top 10 fundraiser by dollar amount ($8+ million).
By the beginning of February 2022 with the GoFundMe fundraiser exceeding $10 million, GoFundMe bowed to political pressure and made the decision to pause the fundraiser for review.
The well-organized truckers’ administrative group quickly incorporated a charity Freedom 2022 Human Rights and Freedom Association (Freedom 2022) to address all of GoFundMe’s issues.
GoFundMe decided to cancel the fundraiser and return donators money on request with the residual amount planned to be dispersed to approved charities.
After many complaints to GoFundMe and threats to investigate the situation by several USA governors (Desantis) and attorney generals, as well as large numbers of donators demanding chargeback fees be applied by credit card companies for lack of service at $15-25 per transaction, GoFundMe decide to automatically reverse all ~110k+ transactions.
Freedom 2022 setup another fundraising page at Christian site GiveSendGo who promised not to bow to political pressure and deliver the funds as per their mission statement.
Corporate media complaints that the GiveSendGo fundraiser was attracting money from outside of Canada (namely racist right-wing US groups) was belied by the fact that the business operated in US dollars. Canadians paid an exchange rate to donate the funds, and the truckers paid an exchange rate to accept the funds.
The new GiveSendGo fundraiser reached US$8 million within days.

On March 16, 2022 GiveSendGo announced by e-mail that they would be returning donations to the givers since “the Canadian government has criminalized the receiving of funds from the Freedom Convoy 2022 campaign and now are trying to seize the funds to redistribute. In order to protect our Givers and the intended purposes of their gifts, funds not already transferred to the recipients from the 'Freedom Trucker Convoy' campaign will be refunded automatically, no refund requests necessary. Additional information will be posted shortly.”

Bad Media Coverage
Two years of pandemic emergency response by all levels of government and intensive day by day coverage by corporate media has shown the propaganda puppets of the government.
CBC, CTV, Toronto Star, CNN, Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer, Guardian, Mashable became notorious for narrative journalism that was often biased and misdirecting, rarely thorough, and sometimes advancing downright lies.
Fact checkers (Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH)) tout their dubious articles/opinions. Who fact checks the fact checkers?

Good Media Coverage
Realizing that corporate media was/is painting the truckers, their supporters and organizers in a bad light, serious effort was put into proving that the group were/are true everyday Canadians with peaceful protest and the best intentions in mind. Flying the Canadian flag is an act of defiance so Canadian flags are everywhere. Removing garbage, shoveling snow, feeding anyone, bouncy castles for the children, pancake breakfasts and using the power of the people to support other Canadian causes.

Becoming Famous
Thanks to the Freedom Convoy and the controversy set up by the Trudeau government, these protesters are becoming famous:
Chris Barber, AKA Big Red, is one of the original founding members of the Freedom Convoy from Saskatchewan. Chris is facing up to 10 years in jail for the various charges against him being part of the Freedom Convoy, and his trial will not be until September 2023. Therefore - his speech and opinions about the convoy will be muzzled for nearly 2 years from the Trucker Convoy! All without being convicted of any crime. He is currently in Ottawa for the Public Order Emergency Commission (POEC) incurring expenses for the past few weeks. (4-Nov-2022)
Brigitte Belton is a hardworking trucker and one of the main organizers of the Convoy. Brigitte and Chris brought Tamara Lich into the original group and she began organizing the Freedom Convoy.
Eva Chipiuk originally Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) lawyer for Freedom 2020 but then became a witness.
Benjamin Diechter
Chris Deering is an Afghanistan veteran and a Convoy leader. He was beaten by the police, and lost one of his medals that he was proudly wearing during his arrest. He lost a significant amount of wages during the period of his arrest, and is incurring further expenses right now in Ottawa during the Emergency Act inquiry.
Maggie Dingman (Braun) is a mother who was arrested, driven 30 min away from downtown and dropped off in the snow without a working cell phone. She’s been suffering from PTSD as a result of the police pointing a rifle at her head.
Randy Hillier
Patrick King finally out on bail (2023) and able to raise funds (only raise funds) on social media for his legal defence.
Tamara Lich arrested, denied bail, and re-arrested and denied bail again. The government has brought the hammer down on her – because she’s been the figurehead of the Convoy movement.
Tom Marazzo is a Canadian Forces veteran, and was crucial in providing logistical leadership and military strategy to the Convoy, along with being a prime liaison with police.

- Coutts 4: Four Alberta family men arrested in Coutts, AB. in February 2022. Chris Carbert, Chris Lysak, Jerry Morin, Tony Olienick being held in solitary confinement (22 hrs per day) for 546 days in Remand Centre since February 2022. New Trial date is May 27th, 2024.

Coutts, Alberta
The people in Coutts have been protesting for almost two weeks against COVID restrictions and vaccine mandates in solidarity with the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa. (Adam Soos e-mail)
Milk River, Alberta
Hundreds, and at times, thousands of people have come down to support the blockade in Milk River, Alberta, where they have erected a makeshift village along the highway in support of the truckers just south of them in Coutts.
Contrary to what you may have heard about the situation in Milk River, the vehicles there are all parked on the side of the road. Only RCMP and police are impeding the flow of traffic on this highway.
Enforcement has also been ramped up in Milk River. Truckers, farmers, and supporters were moved to a designated protest area and warned of police action if they didn’t comply. That enforcement came two days ago (9-Feb-2022) when police issued traffic violations to every car participating in the protest. But none of this has swayed people to pack up and go home. Many of you might recall that in November 2022 the Canadian Federal Government announced that cross boarder travel would require a vaccine passport, even for truckers who are considered essential workers. This was considered controversial because the trucking industry was already experiencing a shortage of truckers driving up the cost of transport for essential goods like food that Canadians relied on to be imported from the US during the winter. Many of you also might recall that on January 11 the federal government announced that they would be dropping the mandate for truckers to be vaccinated to cross back into the Canadian border which seem to indicate that the federal government was heating the warnings of industry experts. And many of you also might recall that the next day the federal government flip-flopped and reversed its decision to drop the mandate for truckers to be vaccinated to re-enter Canada without being quarantined for multiple days on end. After this flip flop, individual truckers began announcing their intentions to Convoy to Ottawa to protest. Multiple fund raisers popped up, and Tamara’s emerged as the symbol of hope and freedom as she joined the convoy riding with Chris Barber leading the convoy to Ottawa. Along the way she covered the convoy on video live steams and social media. All her social media has now been cancelled… which again only proves that the truckers and protesters are right.

Thank you all for your generosity supporting the truckers\' protesting passports and coerced medical procedures lead by our courageous truckers. The protest fundraiser has achieved success beyond our wildest dreams and in ways we never could have predicted. Tamara’s humble vision to support her trucking friends in their protest efforts, hoping to raise $20,000 for their journey, has become a symbol of hope for individual freedom and sovereignty. It has inadvertently exposed foreign globalist interference as they clamour to cease the donations of mothers, fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers. This humble grass roots movement appears to have led these powers into knee jerk reactions that repeatedly validate the protesters’ concerns. They are protesting government overreach. What does the government do in response to that protest? Overreach even more. Our victories come easier and easier as they continuously prove the protesters right.
To provide clarity and transparency regarding the breath-taking growth of this fund raiser, please note that the original written explanation on GoFundMe to raise funds is no longer available. The original explanation was more general allowing for support of the truckers in whatever ways were needed to support their protest. The existing fundraising post is the result of communications between GoFundMe and Tamara and her original team which lead to continuous editing of the campaign posting into more specific uses of funds which GoFundMe began to interpret as a paralyzing restriction on the use of funds. Restricting the support of the protesters was never the intent of the fundraiser nor is it the intent of the donors. Whatever ethical and peaceful aid the Charter Right protesters require is what the donors want to provide, and the administrators of the fund will not unnecessarily restrict the use of the funds to support them. Here are some examples of what we believe the donors endorse as a proper use of their funds to support the protesters:
- Fuel for travel and warmth
- Necessities of life like water, food, shelter, and more
- Legal aid
- Financial aid
- Permanent infrastructure for continuing advocacy in whatever form that takes
- Office staff and personnel to permanently support them
- Other as required

Send to the Joint Committee on the Declaration of Emergency Act (DEDC). And to your MP and Senator. And if possible send to all MP's and all Senators. This can be done by slow mail or email: I appreciate the effort being made by the Special Joint Committee on the Declaration of Emergency (DEDC) investigating invocation of the Emergency Act (EA) which put Canada under martial law and caused great harm to peaceful protestors in the Freedom Convoy 2022. Martial law lasted from FEBRUARY 14, 2022, TO FEBRUARY 23, 2022. And I hope members will have the courage to recommend treason for Trudeau when the evidence is gathered that there was no violence, blockade or occupation by the Freedom Convoy 2022 confirmed by the court and police as well as the thousands of participates and supporters.. And that Ottawa Police Services and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police OPP did not request the invocation of the Emergencies Act.
The work being done by the Joint Committee is the only placable way to protect our human rights and fundamental freedoms and the preserve the rule of law in Canada from the attack by the World Economic Forum/UN. Many of our elected leaders are members of the WEF and they are working hard in the interests of multi-national corporations to erode your democracy and freedom. The WEF is set to the task of implementing the Agenda 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The WEF is set to advance technologies to support these goals. You can see that the interests of the people are not being considered by the WEF. The WEF is an alliance with business, governments, organization and experts dedicated too maximizing the impact of digital technology and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. WEF IN CANADA Trudeau along with other member of the WEF MPP David Lametti, Bill Blair Marco Mendicino, signed an illegitimate order to illegally shut down the Freedom Convoy 2022 which was focused on challenging mandatory vaccination for travel. These actions brought Canada under martial law illegally because Canada does not have any provision for marital law.
We notice that the committee compelled the Ottawa Police Services chiefs Steven Bell and Peter Sloly, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commissioner Brenda Lucki and Ontario Provincial Police commissioner Thomas Carrique all testified under oath that they did not request or recommend the the Federal Government implement the EA to such down the convoy. OPS also testified that there was no violence during the Freedom Convoy 2022. As well there were two court decisions during the convoy that found the convoy peaceful and therefore legal.
Without evidence that there was a danger to the public including no evidence of blockade or occupation no grounds existed to shut this protest down in such a violent way.
As well the executive of the government did not invoke the EA according to law as they did not have permission from the Federal Cabinet to invoke the EA. They just went ahead without grounds and passed laws without permission to do so by Parliament. If Trudeau has enough power he would be a dictator.
The Federal Government contrary to paragraph 3 of the Emergency Act also severally violated the rights of citizens. This includes the right to speech, assembly association and a host of legal rights including reasonable bail. There are still persons in jail for bogus charges made under the EA.

In Canada because they cannot violate your civil liberties even in the case of a national emergency there is no provision in Canada for martial law. Yet Trudeau and company brought in martial law.

You can see in the article right out of the gate that innovation of the EA requires full support of the Cabinet. And you can see that the War Measures Act was replaced by the EA specifically so that our rights and freedoms cannot be violated in an emergency. In other words no martial law in Canada is permitted under law.
Trudeau and company acted outside the rule of law and undermined our parliamentary procedure and viciously attacked unarmed peace protesters. These actions constitute an act of treason which carries a sentence of life in prison.
Nothing short of removing those involved in this act of treason and putting them in jail will preserve our rule of law including our legal rights and freedoms protected in the Canadian Bill of Rights 1960.
Other actions contrary to the interests of Canadians is Bill C11 censorship and Bill S233 which would give the executive government the right to pool Employment Insurance, CPP disability and Old Age pensions and other government retirement programs into one universal benefit. At this time they will also give the executive government the right to set standards annually on the receipt of the monies based on consultation with their own ministers not the parliament. This are scary communist/globalists principles. Also they are busy at illuminating the right to own land.
I am very concerned about the future of our Canadian Democracy and I want you to know I give my full support and approval to the Joint Committee to order these treasonous individuals to be arrested, put on trial and if convicted sent to prison for life with no chance of parole.

The truckers came because of government overreach. They came because of unjustified lockdowns and measures. Then the government literally trampled their own citizens. Brutalized them. Imprisoned them. Froze bank accounts. Seized assets.

The prime minister ignored a whole group of his own citizens. He called them racists, misogynists, extremists, he asked how long they should be tolerated for. He got "cVd" every time he was challenged.

Not the truckers who fed the city (literally), who lowered the crime rate in the downtown core, who cleaned garbage and shoveled where the city did nothing, who hugged and loved and yes honked. Who got the attention of the WORLD. Who inspired hope for millions, who brought Canadians together who thought they were alone, who gave doctors and medical professionals being silenced a platform, who saved countless lives of people who’d been sinking into absolute despair…..

Ottawa and Coutts, Alberta were two protests happening about roughly the same time (early 2022) about roughly the same issues (COVID mandates). The truckers in Alberta protested allowing only one lane of traffic over the border. Meanwhile protesters in Ottawa hailing from all parts of Canada, gathered in the largest protest that Canada has ever seen. Trudeau, embarrassed by the "fringe minority", used wartime measures to shut down the peaceful Ottawa protest by conscripting tow truck drivers to move (and sometimes damage) the large vehicles, freezing bank accounts (stopping protesters from actually getting home), arresting organizers (most famously Tamara Lich, Chris Barber, amongst others). Similar arrests of organizers in Coutts had 4 men (Chris Carbert, Chris Lysak, Jerry Morin, Tony Olienick) on charges of conspiring to murder RCMP officers because they had permitted rifles in their trucks.
