The Company was told to correct the deficiency by the M.N.R. We stated our concerns to council. We had a talk with the owner of the gravel pit. We asked for a berm he said "that will cost me money" we asked for trees for a screen "he said he could do that" (he planted trees 2 to 3 ft. high) We asked about the dust. On Aug 06/09 this crusher was placed in front of our home 12 hours a day 5 days a week. The noise was unreal. The township refused to do anything. http://deathanddustmystory.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html

More Pics of crushing in front of our home The crusher run was about 300 ft. from our home. My wife was choking severely the Township refused to do anything. The owner of the Pit assured us he would mitigate the dust and noise, he did nothing. The MNR prosecutor reviewed all your video/photo evidence and as you know, there was a plea agreement made prior to court which resulted in Construction Ltd pleading guilty and was fined $1,000.00. Thanks for your evidence and willingness to be a witness....

With video evidence our concerns were dismissed by the authorities in charge. The owner was reminded of his obligations under the A.R.A. and the environmental protection act. There was a complaint made prior to the M.N.R. the Township, and the Owner but they were all ignored.

Dust clouds from trucks sometimes 30 trucks in a day. The M.N.R. has full control over the E.P.A. not the Ministry of the Environment.
